Unlike a traditional backpack, the triangular profile leaves your shoulders uncovered for improved airflow and a cooler carry in warmer conditions and active pursuits. A generous 8 cm wide tapered strap distributes weight evenly across your shoulder while following the natural contours of your body. Open-cell foam cushioning and breathable mesh provide lasting shoulder comfort, while a ventilated back panel promotes airflow where it's needed most.
Access simplified
Three staggered compartments with two-way zipper access keep your gear organised and easy to find. The triangular sling design swings smoothly from back to front for quick access, without the stop-and-remove routine of a traditional backpack.
Structured capacity
Room for a jacket, lunch, a 14.5-inch device, A4 documents, and the rest of your daily carry. Closed-cell foam maintains the bag's shape, while internal waterproof dividers help contain spills and keep compartments organised. They also make a surprisingly capable cooler bag with an ice pack, for your water bottle, sports drink, or bottle of wine if the situation calls for it.
Carry it your way
Wear it across the front or side of your body for quicker access and added security when needed. An internal zip security pocket fits passport and phone-sized essentials, with dual-entry access from the large and middle compartments. Entirely practical, as intended.
Secure movement, cinched
An optional cinch strap clips to the shoulder strap for added stability on rides, hikes, and those moments when the pace picks up, then stows neatly away in its own side seam pocket when not in use. Both straps adjust easily with tri-glide buckles and elastic keepers for a clean, tidy fit. No loose ends.

Hi Marnie & Dean, just recently returned from a trips to Vietnam and japan, where we used a couple of your products.
The bathroom bags (large for my wife and small for me), worked brilliantly in the tiny bathrooms of Tokyo hotels. Without any space to put down a toiletry bag, the hooks on your bags were a godsend, and their capacity to hold everything in its place was perfect. I also used your large sling pack daily in city and country rambles to tote camera, water bottle, rain jacket, maps, snacks and money. Large enough to hold essentials, but not too big to be burdensome on day long hikes.

I have just returned from a 3 week holiday in the UK. I have a bad back so I wanted a bag that was held close to my back or chest, depending on how I needed to carry it.
The size is perfect for my iPad, wallet, phone, glasses, gloves & water bottle.
I carried it mostly on my back but when back was tired I would slide it around to the front.
The hidden inside compartment is perfect for my passport and other travel docs.

After a couple of days of field testing, here is what I have to say about this backpack :
PROS :
– Very sturdy and durable, the canvas is resistant and waterproof, the stitching is super solid!
– It looks good, maybe not for formal and business wear, but more than presentable none the less.
– Comfortable. The padding and mesh is comfy even when the bag is packed to the brim. For long walk and cycling, the 2nd strap relieve most of the weight and can go around me (6’5″ and 330 pounds), which I didn’t expect.
CONs :
– Storage – It’s minor, but I would’ve liked some mesh pockets in the main and/or 2nd compartment and some elastic band in the small front pocket for pencils. The key holder is a litlle short and doesn’t accommodate larger carabiner very well.
Overall, it’s the best bag I’ve ever seen. The price might seems steep at first (especially with the international shipping) but it’s worth every penny!
PS… if you ever have any bad luck with shipping or customs, be reassured that the Nomads will make sure you got your stuff. They respond quickly to emails and go above & beyond what is expected.

This is a great bag. So much so that I’ve bothered to come back and tell you how awesome it is. The Zips are all heavy duty, the canvas is beautiful, and I love the internal pocket that bridges between the two main ones. Plus the strap is really comfortable, and it’s so convenient to just sling the bag into your lap when you sit down. Also, Dean and Marnie are really helpful: they went the extra mile to make sure all my stuff would fit in by doing some experiments for me. I’d definitely buy from them again if I need to.

We have just used this amazing bag on our holiday to the US. So easy and convenient to use and it makes so much sense to have a bag you can simply “sling” to the front and access all of its contents without having to take the bag off or risk losing anything. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have their bag contents readily accessible. It also works when you just want to sit down and have your bag in the front while still wearing it.
